That's great. It really pays a lot to have a "rewarding job." I love making a difference in a child's life too. Nannying or childcare is HARD WORK. Mothers should get paid. Even after working just a couple of hours in the morning for a 1 1/2 year old, I am totally exhausted. I know how challenging it is and I know how fun it can be too. I can't imagine 16 kids. I have a hard time when there is a play-date and there is just two kids! It takes a very special person to be able to do what you're doing. And I'm sure you'll get a raise soon enough. Aw.
