New Anna Videos

I just put up four new Anna videos.  The first two are from the end of April right before we moved (you can tell the house is in a bit of disarray since we were packing everything up).

This next one is of Anna and her cousin Alex dancing to the music at the fountains by The Plaza in Kansas City.  Be sure to watch for me telling Anna to “shake it”.  That bit cracks me up every time.  She’s such a little ham.

This last one was today.   Anna *just* figured out how to catch a ball.  Before she’d just hold her hands out and if you were lucky you could throw the ball and get it to land right in her arms…she wouldn’t go after it at all.  Now she’ll actually TRY to catch it.

Oh yeah…

…and we made it to Houston mostly in one piece.  The trailer busted an axle…or something related to the axle (I don’t speak car-talk) and we ended up leaving it somewhere in the middle of Oklahoma and rented a Uhaul trailer for the rest of the trip.  Oh well, we made it in one piece so I suppose that’s what matters most.  Now if I can just get used to this heat and humidity down here…  Thank God for a/c!

Anna’s Big Girl Bike

Anna got her first big girl bike with training wheels today, courtesy of her Pappy and Grammy (Dan’s dad and stepmom).  She fell asleep in the car on the drive home from the store so she hasn’t had a chance to ride it yet…but she’s so excited.  She has a Dora helmet that came with knee and elbow pads, and we bought a basket for the bike as well, because she’ll insist that Grover go along with her…  :-D  Here’s her little bike in all it’s glory.  Isn’t it cute?!  It’s so little too.

Don’t Mess With Me

Before Anna was born I did Taekwondo.  I got my black belt about 6 months before I found out I was pregnant.  I used to do about 3-4 competitions a year and always did well in the weapons competition.  Here’s a video when I was a Red Belt (I think) doing the double nunchucks.  I was pretty good, if I do say so myself.  :-p

About

I'm a relatively boring person...wife to Dan, mom to Anna and two little wiener dogs. Photography is my hobby, though maybe someday I'll make some money off of it. Skiing is a passion, when I can do it. Maybe at some point I'll put something a little more witty and interesting here.
